Why Us?

There are many options when it comes to finding a Cavapoo puppy for your family.

It's important to do your research. After all, this puppy will grow to be a huge part of your family for years to come.

  • What makes our program stand out from others?
  • Is Cavapoo Kennels of Western NY the right choice for your family?

Here are a few attributes that we take pride in:

Transparency

It starts with transparency. We try to post daily about our dogs and puppies. We try and show how things are done on a moment-to-moment basis. We want you to get on our page and KNOW who we are and how we do things.

When you join our list, we want you to feel like a part of the family. We encourage communication with those on my wait list. While I can’t always take phone calls, I can and do check messages regularly.

Training

We begin to train your puppy! What does that mean? We start crate training at approximately 5 weeks of age. By the time they head home they are able to sleep through the night without having any accidents. We do send home our routine with all our pups and their families. This allows you to mimic what we do and makes the transition so much easier for all.

We start potty training your pup. Yes, even in winter. We start heading outside between 5-6 weeks depending on the weather. The more time spent outside, the better they get it, even at this young age.

Individual Attention

We work with the puppies individually. So we meet them where they are to help them learn and grow in a safe, secure environment. If a pup is a bit more timid, we take our time with them and work one on one to help them learn, new things are fun. But we go at their pace. Doing it individually helps to not overwhelm the pup with a more excitable litter mate. By the time they are 8 weeks of age, all pups are in a similar place with temperament. That is our goal, to have puppies excited and enthusiastic about new situations.

Focus on Health & Nutrition

We focus on health beyond the health-testing of parents. We believe that nutrition is a huge component of healthy adults and puppies. We feed a raw food diet. We wean the pups onto raw. You can see the benefits in our dogs and I love nothing more then sharing about feeding raw with our families.

We do not insist our families maintain feeding raw. Once the pups go home, they are yours. But, I do share all the knowledge I have learned and a good percentage DO continue feeding raw.

Lifetime Commitment

Yes, we typically maintain a wait list. But I do believe we are worth the wait.

When you get a puppy from us, you get us for life. Questions or concerns? We welcome you reaching out. We have a private page for families that have one of our pups. It is great to keep in touch with litter mates and ask for ideas when you run into training issues. And...most fun...you can use it to create play dates in your areas with other Cavapoo Kennel puppies!

If you think you may be interested in getting on our wait list, send us a message!
